Engaging students in Argumentation from Evidence cultivates essential skills in reasoning, evidence-based analysis, and persuasive communication. One way to facilitate argumentation is to engage students in problem-solving tasks in small groups.

ArguAgent supports and monitors students in scientific argumentation using the claim-evidence-reasoning framework. ArguAgent is a collaborative learning buddy to facilitate small-group scientific argumentation to deepen understanding of science concepts and engage in collaborative dialogue with peers. ArguAgent collaborates with teachers to monitor argumentation dynamics for real-time intervention.
